A fault pattern worth knowing
A DG set that starts fine on test but fails to take load during a real outage often has a fault that only shows under load: a governor or AVR problem, or a changeover panel whose timing or interlock misbehaves. Testing the set on load through the actual changeover panel, rather than starting it off-load, is the check that finds it.
