Machine repair for seed processing & agri plants

Seed processing plants clean, grade, treat and pack seed to a quality standard, and the work is seasonal: large volumes in a short window after harvest. The line typically runs air-screen cleaners, gravity separators, indented cylinders, seed treaters, dryers, elevators and packing machines, much of it in the seed hubs around Hyderabad.

Plants are often idle for months and then run flat out, and that pattern causes its own faults. Motors and panels that sat in humid storage develop insulation problems, contactors stick, and drives fail on the first start of the season. A check before start-up catches most of it.

  • Elevator and conveyor drive faults
  • PLC and sensor diagnosis on graded lines

03 / A typical fault

A fault pattern worth knowing

A drive or motor that fails on the first start after the off-season has often absorbed moisture while standing. Insulation resistance that was healthy last season can fall low enough in a damp store to trip protection or damage the motor. Measuring insulation before applying power, and drying the motor out if needed, prevents it.

05 / How it works

What happens when you get in touch

  1. 01Call or WhatsApp us with the machine, the fault code if there is one, and where the plant is.
  2. 02We match a technician who works on this kind of equipment, and they review the code before setting out.
  3. 03On site they make it safe, diagnose, and tell you what has failed and what the repair involves before starting.
  4. 04After the repair they run the machine with you, and you sign off a job card and get a report for your records.

06 / Questions

Seed Processing & Agri: common questions

Can you do a full electrical check before our processing season?+

Yes. A pre-season visit covers insulation tests on motors, panel cleaning and termination checks, starter and drive tests, and a run of each machine before the seed arrives.

Our seed treater's dosing is inconsistent. Is that electrical?+

It can be. Dosing pumps, their speed control and the flow or weight signals that control them are all electrical. Mechanical wear in the pump is also common, so both are checked.

How do we get a technician for a breakdown in a seed processing & agri plant?+

Send the machine, the fault code or symptom and the plant location by WhatsApp or phone. We match a technician who works on that equipment and tell you who is available and when before you confirm.

Can we set up scheduled maintenance instead of calling for breakdowns?+

Yes. A planned maintenance schedule covers the machines you choose, with visit frequency set by how much each machine's failure costs you.

What happens if parts are needed during a repair?+

The technician lists the parts needed and the sourcing options before anything is fitted. Parts are quoted separately from labour.
