Servo Drives & Amplifiers repair

Servo amplifiers and multi-axis drive systems on CNC machines, packaging lines, presses and robots. Servo drives combine a power stage with fast feedback and position control, so a fault can sit in the power section, the encoder interface or the control board. Repair at component level keeps the axis tuning and the machine's configuration intact.

FAQ

Servo Drives & Amplifiers repair questions

Does the servo drive need its motor sent with it?+

Not usually. The drive can be tested on a bench motor. Send the motor too if the alarm points at feedback or the motor itself, or if the fault follows the motor when drives are swapped.

Will the axis need re-tuning after the repair?+

If the drive's parameters and firmware are preserved, it normally goes back into the machine with the same settings. A parameter backup sent with the drive avoids surprises.
