About ABB VFD Repair
ABB drives log faults clearly, and that helps: an ACS880 throwing 2310 (overcurrent) is a different job from 3210 (DC overvoltage) or 4210 (IGBT overtemp). We pull the fault logger with Drive Composer, check the DC bus and IGBT stack, and inspect the cooling path — ACS550 heatsinks clog badly in cement and foundry dust and cause repeat overtemperature trips.
For the end-of-life ACS550, component repair keeps you running; where the power module is unobtainable we quote an ACS580 replacement with parameter migration rather than leaving you stranded.
