About FANUC PLC Repair & Programming
On FANUC machines the PLC is the PMC — the ladder built into the CNC that runs the machine sequence (tool changer, hydraulics, safety interlocks). Faults show as PMC alarms, an I/O Link failure, or a stopped ladder. We read the PMC status and diagnosis, trace the I/O Link, and back up the ladder before any change.
Where the PMC ladder has no offline copy we upload it from the control with Ladder III, document the sequence, and return a commented, backed-up project — essential on a used machine bought with no documentation.
